Hard hitting rock song, not metal, but hard rock. Pretty cool guitar and drum hooks. Cool vocal harmonies.

SINKING DOWN

This was recorded in 2000. Although I'm not happy with my verse-vocals on it, there are good choruses and an aggressive bridge that is good for something! Musically, there are some funky parts and some hard rock gems as well as some grungy parts.

TAKE YOUR FACE

Kind of a ballad, but more of a light rock, pop rock, love song. Good lyrics and catchy choruses.

TREE OF LIFE

Dreamy tune, recorded in 2000 with some nice harmonies and a crescendo. There are some out of tune guitar parts. So... if a sync opportunity requires the entire song, we can re-record it quickly. Maybe the parts you need aren't affected, but as the writer and guitarist on this song, I know where the spots are lol!

FISHING NET

Totally grunge influenced. Not many lyrics, easy to remember and has a nice swing to it.

RUBBER ROOM

A ballad, not too long, vocally harmonized pre-chourus and choruses. Octave guitar solos on the outro of the song along with cool drum fills.

Everyday is Different

BITTER END

A rather long song with good lyrics. A nice driving beat for most of it, other sections of the drums and guitars are more intricate and intimate, including the solo. Malabar Trace has a good bridge too, full of harmonies and octave guitars.

From beginning to end, Vacant Star is a journey that could go on and on. From crunchy guitars to the double bass parts all backed with timely orchestration, this track shows a lot of technical maturity from the band.

The first track from Yellow No. 5's 2025 EP release. Rat Race is full of surprises including a melodic solo used as the track's outro.

From north central Ohio, Yellow No. 5 have been performing and recording since the mid 90's to current with radio play. They've shared the stage with national acts as well as headlined their own events in prominent venues throughout the US and Canada. Yellow No. 5 nourished partnerships with Jagermeister, MTV, Toyota, Curt Mangan Strings and are represented by BMI for their music licensing.
