Swingkidd started his journey into DJ’ing in 1992, when the Northern California Rave scene was birthed. When the raves started getting busted, the events moved into the night (and day) clubs in San Francisco where Swingkidd was fortunate to play & hold residencies.

Swinkidd continues his House Music journey currently playing local events such as Strut, In & out at The EndUp, Broke Buddha, Rhythm Method, Elements of House, Feel it! And Wish Bar to name a few. He provides his own monthly event at Mars Bar call “Danceflō “.

Currently Swingkidd has a show called “STOPWARS!dance on both HOUSEHEADSRADIO.com & sugarshackradio.com, and has been busy DJing both in and around the Bay Area as well as travelling to his "2nd Home", Berlin Germany earlier this summer to play various events. 

As you can see, Swingkidd is a veteran in the scene and we are stoked to welcome him to SRS!!

About PHONK D
Phonk D, DJ & Producer from Darmstadt, Germany
Founder of Footjob & Dedicate

To understand Phonk D’s musical universe, you have to take a journey back in time for some years. After distributing his first genre-crossing mixtapes in the schoolyard, he was drawn to electronic music in the 90s. Night after night the Darmstadt resident observed the DJs at Frankfurt's legendary clubs Dorian Gray and Omen spending all his money on records. Thus, his DJ-career and enthusiasm for House and Techno kicked off with his first gig in 1997.
Aside from DJing, he started to organise his own parties and worked at a local record store. The deeper his interest in DJ-techniques grew, the more he developed a passion for Hip Hop. For the next couple of years the electronic music took a backseat. Instead, Phonk D expanded his personal collection with disco- and funk-records and sold his own mixtapes in the Rhein-Main-area as well as establishing the producer-collective Kollege Schnürschnuh together with his musical partner Iron. In due course, they took credit for several albums and EPs for rappers like Mädness and Döll and Phonk D supported various artists at concerts and festivals as a backing DJ.
While Phonk D enjoys expanding his musical tastes, an old flame never dies and after a long-lasting period in urban music, he went back to his roots, falling in love with electronic music again. He founded his own label footjob, which he has been running since 2014 and releases tunes of other artists besides his own productions.
The sound of footjob is somewhere between deep, disco and classic house without being too attached to a genre and finds the approval of well-known scene-heads. Following various releases on Footjob, Phonk D also appears on labels like Salsoul, Glitterbox, Nite Grooves, NDYD, Poetry in Motion etc. With his event series „Diggin’ In The Crates“ at the Darmstadt-based Weststadtcafé he follows his passion for pushing tunes appealing to him since he took his first steps into the world of music.

Casbah 73 is living in Madrid. To date, he has recorded two albums for HiTop Records and a series of disco-influenced 12"s for Lovemonk, and recently he confessed to being the hitherto mysterious producer Freamon, with 2 releases on the vinyl-only Turbocapitalism label. He holds DJ residencies including BASIC, mixing disco, house and electronic, effortlessly genre-straddling with no prejudices and satisfyingly finding his disco sweet spot exactly where it should be – happily shaking its rump on the floor alongside soul, house and techno, like one big happy, dysfunctional family.
October 2020 saw Casbah 73 make his Glitterbox Recordings debut with an insatiably funky slice of disco soul titled ‘Love Saves The Day’. Following on from his 7” single release “Sweet Maybe” on Lovemonk Records, his follow up release is now scheduled for early 2021.
