I produced a few years back and have included it in my live set from time to time since then. It's been given a final tweak and master before uploading.

The original by MGMT is a great stomping electro pop track with a melancholy edge. Applying a harder vibe was always risky as melancholy quickly turns saccharine with electronic dance music - I think this just about treads the line between underground trance and a more commercial sound. Originally, this was a mash-up with Astrix's 'Future Music' - some elements of which are still present. But with an original bassline, synths and percussion I decided to brashly call it my own remix!

Starting his mixing journey in 2020 with HardTechno bangers, OLLEK quickly veered off the beaten path—rented a studio, dived deep into the archives, and fell headfirst into the magic of vintage trance. These days, he’s all about bringing the forgotten fire of HardDance, HardHouse, and proper HardTrance back to the German club scene.

This mix? It’s like finding your old and dusty CDs in mint condition and playing them at +4%. Intense, driving, and 100% on brand.
