final 2008 iteration (& most-performed version) of granular synthesis series that was started in 2002. Highlights of performances include ICMC2008 at the Sonic Arts Center (Belfast, UK), Spring in Havana (CUBA), Chicago's Version>04 Festival (in installation), Electroacoustic Music Festival in Santiago, CHILE, and the New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival.

Chindogu

Described in the ARRAY journal as "An arresting and highly original work," this is a stereo mix of the 8-channel work that has enjoyed performances at the International Computer Music Conference, Logos Foundation Tetrahedron, and Seoul International Computer Music Festival.

"Steel And Wire" is a sonic monument (a programmatic depiction, a memorial, and a tribute) for the abandoned Northwestern Steel And Wire manufacturing facility in Sterling, IL. It uses a variety of generative processes, created within Max/MSP. It received its premiere at MUSLAB in Mexico City, MEXICO, and its second performance (6-channel version) at the Ammerman Arts Center in Connecticut.

"Somebody's Darling" was part of the SOUND CANOPY (2004, M.W. Burns) sound installation sponsored and presented by Chicago's Hyde Park Arts Center, and several Chicago-based arts collectives including Experimental Sound Studio, Temporary Services, Splintergroup, Dead Tech, and Something Else. Sound Canopy was a public 32-speaker installation that "activated" the busy outdoor space at the corner of State & Adams in Chicago's "Loop." Of course, the kinetic & spacial multi-channel site-specific experience of "Somebody's Darling" in SOUND CANOPY cannot be replicated in the stereo device-based internet medium, but fortunately, Chicago Public Radio WBEZ interviewed the main curator (M.W. Burns) on site, at the SOUND CANOPY, where much of "Somebody's Darling" and SOUND CANOPY was featured and explained by Burns. The audio here is a short excerpt of that interview, with "Somebody's Darling" featured extensively.

This short clip of music was written as a short "soundtrack" for a short video that was taken, after climbing to the top of Philopappos ( Φιλοπάππου ) Hill, in Athens, Greece. This, instead of using a 300 Rise of An Empire knockoff or a Greek bouzuki loop.
