Here's a song that I wrote over the summer of 2013.
I tried to finish it fast but it wasn't an easy process. I had to give it some time and sought help from my awesome sisters and friends and eventually we came up with this lovely acoustic lullaby :)

Feeling Good

Jeremy Fox earned a Bachelors of Music degree in Piano and Jazz Studies from Western Michigan University. He later received his Masters of Music degree in Studio Jazz Writing and his Doctorate in Jazz Composition from the University of Miami.  For 14 years, Jeremy was a Full-time professor at The School for Music Vocations in Iowa, conducting both instrumental and choral ensembles.  Jeremy is now the Director of the Vocal Jazz program at Mt. San Antonio College outside of Los Angeles. There he is ushering in a program that offers singers hands-on skills that are rarely taught at other music colleges. 

For 20 summers, Jeremy led vocal jazz camps around the United States and Canada (www.VocalJazzCamp.com). He also co-conducts workshops designed for choral directors each summer called the Jazz Harmony Retreat (www.JazzHarmonyRetreat.com).

He is active as a clinician, and has presented clinics and served as guest conductor of All-State ensembles throughout the United States.  Vocal festivals that Jeremy has co-ordinated brought in such artists as The Real Group, NY Voices, Rajaton, Mark Murphy, Nancy King, m-pact, and säje.

Jeremy has received 11 SMA awards from Downbeat magazine, including ones for: Best Written Song, Best Arrangement, Studio Engineering, and for his vocal ensembles.  Jeremy’s charts are published with Anchor Music Publications, Sheet Music Plus/Direct, and on his own www.JeremyFox.net website.  He has written for artists like NY Voices, The Real Group, Kevin Mahogany, Terence Blanchard, Rose Max, Lauren Kinhan, Peter Eldridge, Kate McGarry, m-pact, John Secada, and Metropolitan Opera singers Eric Owens and Denyce Graves.  He has twice been invited to act as the guest conductor for the famed Henry Mancini Institute Jazz Orchestra, based in Miami.
