Garage House heavyweight PeKa muscles in on the action and dispatches the Slamma Ruff EP for Pogo House release 152. ‘Slamma Ruff’ is the first track on the EP with lovely strings on the build that then drop into an uplifting vibe that contains a contrasting deep rumbling bassline. Throughout the track there's a nice analogue feel, 
consisting of big chunky 4x4 kicks and complemented by a gritty sounding percussion that gives that true authentic Oldskool Garage finish. Slamma Ruff then gets the remix treatment from ‘Smokey Bubbling B’ who brings a tougher feel to the track with a mischievous swinging bassline coupled with stripped back percussion and perky garage stabs that comes across as simplistic yet highly effective. Last up on this EP PeKa drops us ‘Moments’ a nice smooth four to the floor number with a cosmic sounding breakdown and intricate stabs that give off a gracious vibe to this track and conveys PeKa’s production values really well.
