After the success of the first A-sides compilation in 2012, Adam Beyer has decided its time to release another. With Adam’s stature steadily growing as one of the leading talents in the Techno scene and the rise of Drumcode, the standard of demo’s that have been sent to Adam have been top notch. Adam has now decided to release two compilations with 10 tracks each, consisting of tracks that Adam has tried and tested. There are also new artists that have been invited to release on Drumcode for this compilation and others who are a staple in Drumcode’s core family. Combining both old and new talents Drumcode have come up with something unique and distinctive to make this two-part compilation something extra special.

Following up on his ‘Jackie’ EP on Pryda Recordings from last year, Jeremy Olander is back with the three track ‘Goliath’ EP on celebrated Canadian label microCastle. 

Becoming one of Jeremy's most sought after creations since its appearance on his and Prydz’s BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, lead track ’Goliath’ is a fusion of new school progressive and contemporary techno. Its cavernous groove goes down as one of this year's biggest bass line hooks, underpinning analogue-style melodies and cutting edge sound design.

The EP's second and third offerings, ’Groover’ and ‘Bayhert’, find Jeremy crafting two of the most infectious productions of his career. The former features scintillating rhythms, waves of electronics and haunting vocal elements, the latter presents a tougher, darker and more techno inspired sensibility.

The remix of 'Goliath' is provided by microCastle mainstay Marc Marzenit, fresh from the release of his 'To Love Until We Say Goodbye' album on Henry Saiz’s Natura Sonoris, along with projects for Bedrock and Tronic, all of which have been met with both critical and commercial success. He’s stripped the original right down and reinvented the main elements into his own stadium sized techno behemoth.; the result is one of Marc's most dynamic remixes to date. 

The EP is released exclusively on Beatport via microCastle on April 20th.

It was an infatuation with electronic music from a young age that sparked the beginning of Nick Berry’s DJ career in the Sydney scene back in 2014.

Since then, Berry has made a name for himself through his acute deviation from what is expected, playing uniquely melodic music punctuated by an eclectic mix of deep house and techno - influenced by the 90’s rave and progressive trance era. Fast forward to present day and Nick Berry has shared lineups with DJ Koze, Oliver Koletzki, Andhim, and Gerd Janson to name a few.

Modd sits at the heart of the deep and organic end of the house spectrum with cultured grooves that move you emotionally and physically. He has released tracks on numerous top labels and also heads up his own Something Special and Cultural Code, where he continues to nurture an ever-evolving style. As a DJ, he has played major stages such as Coachella, Tomorrowland, and Printworks, and is a go-to for selectors like Lee Burridge, Bedouin, and radio hosts across BBC Radio 1, Kiss FM, and Ibiza Global Radio.

Here he works with Voice Of Babylon, a new project from Denis Reshetnikov. This experienced DJ and producer now dives deep into rich melodic worlds and has works lined up for Anjunadeep and Bomond.

Say the pair of the collaboration, "We've been friends for a long time and always wanted to do something diﬀerent from our usual organic sound. So we decided to push the envelope and create a beautiful, melodic, and danceable release that reflects our soul and showcases our vision of modern music."

The wonderful 'Bomond' kicks oﬀ with breezy synths and soft melodic sequences that bubble high in the sky above a slinky groove and textured bassline. Angelic vocal coos complete this most blissful escape.

The equally tender and heartfelt 'Hymn Of The Fern' marries lofty pads with luminous synths that warm the soul and arouse the senses with their tactile textures as the rich beats roll on and keep you hypnotised.

Last but not least is 'Magellan', another meticulous sound with wafty drums and pads that are graceful and elegant as they lift you oﬀ your feet and up amongst the most gorgeous melodies. All three cuts are the antidote to busy minds and stressful day-to-day life.

First up, following on from their mighty ‘Promise You’ collab earlier this year, the match made in House Heaven that is Dave Seaman & Aikon team up again, vocalist Daisy Valentine in tow, to bring us the dark, driving juggernaut that is ‘Burning Up’, atmospheric and anthemic in equal proportions.

We love a Selador debut, previous showcases have brought us so many…and we’re delighted to welcome Axel Giova, a regular in all the best DJ boxes via releases for the likes of Sudbeat and Balance. ‘Detroit Touches’ is a mighty fine Seladorian calling card, full of unexpected sonic twists and sexy turns.
