Maybe my best beat yet. Sampled and heavily stripped/modified Summer Camp, Lalo Schifrin, and a cover of Duke Ellington's Soda Fountain Rag (which I reversed). Also the trumpet from Cake's Short Skirt Long Jacket is in there, but I think I accidentally turned it into an oboe. Most of the samples are unrecognizable because of major changes made to them. I really need to get good recording equipment so I can sing and rap over this.

The Last Time (Instrumental)

This track is a combination of my own drum looping and a piano sample from the end of "Youthful Expression" by A Tribe Called Quest. I actually don't know where they got that sample from, if they didn't make it themselves. 

Need a good rapper to kill this beat, thanks in advance.

Somebody Murder This Beat (Instrumental)

Short, catchy song about guilt and pain, probably. Going to sing over it at some point, once I start singing, which should be soon. I butchered and tainted samples from: 

1. Nighttiming by Coconut Records, Jason Schwartzman's band.
2. A.M. 180 by Grandaddy. If you listen to the original song, you'll notice that the pitch is several semitones higher than what I ended up with in my song. Maybe four or five semitones, I forget.
3. Emasculate the Masculine by The Unicorns. I took the breakdown from that song and made it work with the other two samples as a refrain.

I Know (Instrumental)

My most radio-friendly track yet. The bass samples are stand-ins until I play my actual bass guitar for the song.

The Apple (Instrumental)

Work in progress. Still needs bass, vocals, mixing, and more.

Cloud Almanac (Instrumental)
