After turning heads with his recent remix on In Sessions, it seemed right that we got Jeremy Rowlett back in the hot seat to deliver his maiden release, delivering the double header ‘Crossing Paths’ E.P.

Quickly off the mark, Jeremy’s fine production skill and sound selection are apparent from the cool, laid back groove and terrace inspired vibe courtesy of the EP opener ‘Crossing Paths’.

Leaving you wanting more, Jeremy follows that up perfectly with his next cut in the form of ‘Neon’. Taking a slightly deeper, techier route, the track is a moody montage of deep bass notes, soaring leads and an infectious groove to guide it all along. Lush!

The track Largo was one of the first releases I discovered by Markus Schulz in collaboration with Elevation back in 2005. It was released the previous year on Electronic Elements and re-released in 2007 on Armada Music.

One of my stand out tech trance producers from back in 2008 was Element One. The sound he produced was definitely something unique to the scene and he quickly became a name to remember. A couple of his staple tracks for me included 'Everyone On Earth' released on Marcus Schossow's Tone Diary label and 'South Haven' which was released on Markus Schulz's Coldharbour Recordings along with numerous other works remixed by major artists like Agnelli & Nelson, Funabashi, Mat Zo and many others. 

The track 'Miami Vice' was the official first track I ever heard from the artist  then and was instantly hooked on this edgy sound. To pay tribute to that track and artist, I've constructed a rework of Miami Vice. I hope you enjoy!

Progressive / Techno / Trance

Born and raised in the small rural town of Wilmar in southeastern Arkansas, US. With no local music scene, his only exposer to music at a very young age was through attending church but also digging into his mother and brother's vinyl and cassette collections listening to hip-hop, r&b, blues, soul and motown artists. In his elementary years he joined his school choir and learning the basics of piano and reading sheet music. Later, at 12yrs. old he joined his high school concert band learning to compose and write and playing alto saxaphone and later added tenor and baritone sax to the list. This opened his exposure to classical music. In addition, he later developed a taste for percussion; learning snare and eventually full drum set. Having been exposed early on to rock and metal music, this led him to being recruited as drummer for local a progressive metal band. Having been introduced to computers while enrolled in a technology course, he stumbled across music production software. Realizing he could use this as a creative medium musically in a way he had never imagined, he quickly learned this software, mimicing hip-hop beats and eventually creating his own. Unsatisfied with the sounds, he wanted more. A close friend then introduced him to electronic music artists such as Paul Oakenfold, Timo Maas, Nick Warren, John Digweed and more. This was a sound unlike anything he had ever heard. He studied these producers sounds and quickly started producing his own tracks and uploading them to forums online. After several years of crafting his sound he gathered the attention of the likes of world renowned DJs such as Paul Oakenfold, Markus Schulz, Solar Stone, M.I.K.E. and John 00 Fleming to name a few, with releases on labels such as Saturate Audio, In Sessions and an assorment of labels under the Proton Music label catalog.
