I discovered my love for music at the age of 8 and began playing guitar around 14 years old. I helped form my first band in middle school back in the early 90s. I began singing and writing my own music around the age of 17, and by my 30s, I had played in a few different rock-style bands. I had a rough childhood growing up with a single mom and my younger brother, so life wasn't always the best, but playing my guitar and writing music helped me get through those hard times. I was always drawn to hard rock and heavy metal. I do think my sound was highly influenced by the grunge rock style music I grew up listening to. "I love to play my guitar and write songs, but there’s no better feeling than to see someone else enjoy what I've created".
