Sampling loops off dusty records from around the world, composing original music for a 9-piece ensemble, and juxtaposing it all as a form of mosaic music. Musaics contains members of Build An Ark, The Lions, Quantic Soul Orchestra, Antibalas, Mayer Hawthorne, Madlib's Sound Directions and many more projects. Experimental yet steady grooves that hybridize elements of Afrobeat, Cumbia, Spiritual Jazz, Dub and experimental beats.
