When the average blurb writing kru dig deep into their arsenal of cliches and platitudes they inevitable end up blabbering about narrative and musical journey. When broken down this usually amounts to something like the journey from the fridge to the hot tub with a sixpack of dollar donuts and a tube of bunion creme. Yet, when WE talk about narrative we mean the kind of soul searching spirit crushing phoenix on a rollercoaster through the mouth of madness type, where catharsis and coming of age play ping pong over a hot bed of lava drooling from a yawning volcano somewhere on the equator of Deimos, while Mercury is in retrograde. As you can imagine.
Somewhere between these two extremes we find the work of ‘R’, who are, well, unknown init? Still, they intuitively understand the ebbs and floods of the musical tide and the unwritten rules every wayfaring techno mage has to abide. Follow their lead and come across alien and sometimes foreboding landscapes inhabited by weird little creatures etc etc etc etc yadidadi you get the picture.. All this to accompany their Stellar debut release on Jericho one and to give a taste of things to come.

Snack Atoms appears as EABE’s latest signing with a bombardment of uptempo electro rollers. The EP is based on live performances in Helsinki’s Kaiku and Leipzig’s Distillery, creating a pleasantly coherent trip through the four tracks.
The title cut sets the pace with a bouncy beat and a driving bassline joined by wistful synths, topped off with a catchy lead as the powerful track picks up to full throttle – like a maglev train gliding through a neon-lit cityscape, raindrops in the window turning quick into colourful traces. The rest expands on the expertly conceived formula, drawing from elements of dub, trance and contemporary bass music. Not much is known about the protagonist who prefers to travel in the shadows, but the effortless craftmanship and penchant for melody shown here suggest they’ve been lurking in the underground for some time already.

The Jericho One project (also know round the office as Ground Zero) was called into existence to expand the bandwidth of Creme Organization with a different aestethic into a more ominous, techno, breakbeat, bass and dare we say "bigroom" oriented area without diluting the already overcrowded bunks of the Mothership any further. This is not an extension of R-Zone, there is no anonimity, even though there might be an overlap in sounds somewhere. This is no Throwback or Rave revivalism either. We aim to be firmly rooted in the now, with modern and up to date productions. But even then there is no escaping Electronic music's staggering heritage. We don't pretend to be original, instead we live in a world of combinations, re-interpretations ands re- imaginings. And at the risk of offending Extreme Noise Terror: We're only in it for the music. So if that's your thing, you are more than welcome to join us on another adventure.
