Slay’, available digitally on July 14th, is a collaboration between Seattle-based producer Ainslee [Main Course / Sweat It Out!] and Sugur Shane, a club-ready vogue track drenched in taut atmospheric hisses. The kicks pound in the listener’s chest and are balanced against dominating orchestral stabs, snappy claps, subtle percussion and a biting, yet alluring, vocal that’s going to whip any crowd into a frenzy. As the title implies, the track will Slay. Sugur had the following to say about the collaboration. “Slay was born in Seattle in Ainslee's studio. We were just having fun but I was also going through a time I felt defeated and needed to release. Slay is my statement for 2017. I'm still here and I came to Slay!”

Following on from the original cut is a pair of remixes from both ends of the dance music spectrum. Italy’s Gabsphere [Classical Trax/ Main Course/ Ordo Spectro] brings a club flip that’s dancing on a knife’s edge between sweet and deadly, pairing off a haunting, hard-edged synth line with a lush piano-house build-up, all sitting on the framework of neck-snapping percussion, and finished off nicely a bass-heavy breakdown that’s sure to turn more than a few heads when it hits. Meanwhile, LA based producer DJ Wall [Main Course / Brooklyn Fire / Muevelo] takes things down a darker, ‘four-to-the-floor’ route twisting the vocal sample into a voguing war-chant with a dark synth line hanging over the unrelenting combination of kicks and hats that pushes this remix forward and is sure to make the dancefloor do the same.

‘Slay’ hits all the right notes for a club-ready production while maintaining the creativity that Sugur Shack strives for; using elements that aren’t always heard in a standard club track while maintaining that original energy.
