This week’s Crack Mix comes courtesy of Bristol-based DJ and Psychotherapy Sessions resident Alya L.

Her hour-long offering whips together tracks from local artists Grove and Fellony, Hyperdub heroes Ikonika and Lee Gamble, plus music from the likes of Dark0, Martyn, India Jordan and more. The result? A mash-up of icy instrumentals, tough edits and foot-stepping club constructions.

A DJ since 2020, her sound has been described as whimsical and groovy. After beginning her career opening for Experimental Housewife at Kremwerk, Ana-Lucid has played all across Seattle, appearing for nights such as Depth, Makes Me Human, and Caravan. In addition to DJing, she’s just added music production to her repertoire.
