For 25 years, Javabass Soundsystem has brought us together through a shared passion and love for Drum and Bass. This music has been our creative outlet, a unifying force, and a powerful platform to amplify local talent on the dancefloor.

To mark our 25th anniversary, we proudly present the return of Homegrown, a compilation album that reaffirms the presence and evolution of Indonesian Drum and Bass. This album featured 25 tracks from 25 producers across cities throughout Indonesia, ranging from Javabass Recordings established names, rising stars, promising newcomers, and winners of the Homegrown Competition.

Released digitally and as a double CD, Homegrown is more than just an album - it's a statement. With stunning visual artwork by renowned artist Popo Mangun, this album blends sound and visuals that reflect the strong identity of our community

Undoubtly one of the original Indonesian Drum n Bass pioneer and purist in the Indonesian scene since 1996. Co Founder of Javabass Soundsytem & Javabass Recordings, the collective has been best known for running the infamous PHUNKTION nights in Jakarta & other cities  for more than 20 years , spreding the Junglist Movement in Indonesia. As a full drum n bass spectrum specialist not only  Djing from the most underground parties to the biggest rave here & around south east asia , he also has won multiple Indonesian Electronic Dance Music awards. Producing & release couple tunes & remixes from well known Indonesian bands .
