DJ Mustard ft TY$ & Joe Moses - Paranoid (Jerome LOL Edit)

This is a recording of the intro to my set performed on October 1st in Buffalo, NY.  My live set mostly consists of improvisation and looping.  The basic drums are the only things planned entirely in advance (and you may recognize them from other songs.)  The vocals are done through the Novation MiniNova, additional drums come from the Alesis Control Pad, audio synth is played from a Yamaha DJX-2, midi synths and arpeggios are played from a YouRock midi guitar.  Everything runs through Ableton LIVE and is controlled by the Korg nanoKONTROL (looping, mix, etc.).  Apologies if the mix isn't perfect, there are a lot of variables and things going on when performing live, and I only have 2 arms ^__^

Jerome LOL - Burton Hall

I have been jamming a lot in the studio and a lot of the sounds that are created are ephemeral, since I didn't have a way of recording them. So, this morning I went to the Goodwill and got a tape deck and the one cassette they had (which you can hear a little bit of in the beginning), and recorded what happened. Nothing was planned, so some of it's pretty rough, so apologies in advance for that. Gear stuff for anyone interested.

I used a Roland TR-8 going into channel one of the mixer, a Novation Bass Station II and everything coming out of my soundcard / Ableton in channel 3.  A Novation MiniNova, a Telecaster, and a Push were used running through Ableton (lots of looper in Ableton).  I used a Pioneer DJ mixer recorded into the tape deck. It was about 5 minutes longer, but I guess something happened to the tape deck, which you can hear at the end where it sounds like some weird filter occurs.
