Channelling the high voltage spirit of Kraftwerk with booming 808 subs, icy Street Sounds flavoured breaks and a touch of lyrical poignancy no one can ignore, ‘Electronic Emergency’ is a nuclear electro jam for modern day escapism. It comes with some explosive remixes, too: Rigopolar switches the beats to four-four juggernauts and swathes the original’s magic in heavy cosmic layers while Kincaid continues his impeccable vein of form with a moodier perspective, loaded with far-gazing synth spirals, tidal washes and slippery icicle arpeggios.
