An ode to failure!

Departing from the image of the genius artists, the Hit&Miss compilation wants to show the hidden parts of creation, by embracing missteps and abandonment as a natural part of any artistic journey. 

Open to all members of the Global URL Nation, it proposed a new home for projects that couldn't find a place to exist otherwise, due to artistic (self-)exigency, technical problems, bad timing or any other reason often unknown to the general public. 

With more than 20 artists from a broad range of styles, experience and locations, it gathers unfinished projects such as aborted WIP, forgotten drafts, lost files, unconvincing demos, compulsive emotional bursts or technical experimentations. 

With all its flaws and raw cuts, Hit&Miss asserts the strength of trial and error, and cherishes the impossibility to develop an idea into a finished object as a learning process towards one's growth.

Within the span of a year, Tallinn-based club night series and creative collective Shelter has managed to rally dozens of electronic musicians from all corners of the world to an unexpected meeting point by the Baltic Sea. By curating club nights that showcase local talents aside some of the brightest minds in electronic music today, Shelter has undeniably played a significant role in revitalizing Tallinn’s club scene.

More importantly, Shelter uses its platform to shed light on some of the worst humanitarian crises currently plaguing our planet. Beyond covering event costs, ticket sales proceeds from Shelter Showcase events have been directed to organizations who provide resources to those in need, including the Ottawa Black Diaspora Coalition in Ukraine and the Rebuilding Alliance in Palestine.

To celebrate 1 year of building bridges between communities and incubating forward-thinking electronic music, Shelter presents Feyrûse: a compilation album featuring 17 tracks by an intercontinental melting pot of musicians, majority of whom have graced the dancefloors of Shelter.

Feyrûse aims to capture increasing unity within the global electronic music community. The musical styles represented on the album are as varied as its diverse cast of artists, ranging from purpose-built hybrid club to serene and blissful melodic rituals.

Lamurya nos cuenta la historia de alguien con una sed insaciable por reinventarse. Aquí, Stasya trata de abordar su insatisfacción crónica por su propia existencia y la manera en que es percibidx por el resto. Lamurya lidia con el conflicto, la muerte y la resurrección, en un viaje de autoafirmación y descubrimiento. A través de melodías y composiciones cinematográficas, Stasya resiste como una mariposa que viaja a través del tiempo y el espacio, consciente de que cada acción tiene una consecuencia.

Lamurya tells the story of someone with an insatiable thirst for reinventing oneself. Here, Stasya tries to address their chronic dissatisfaction regarding how they exist and present themselves to others. Lamurya deals with conflict, death and resurrection,
in which Stasya depicts a journey of self-afirmation and discovery. Through cinematic melodies and compositions, they live as a butter y traveling through time and space, well aware that each action comes with a consequence.
