"i see it as some funny journal of beats created between 2020-2023. i do find it funny cos’ it’s like…what is it? fifteen tracks? and that barely scratches the surface of how much i’ve created over the past three years. i’m always awfully hesitant to show myself what i’ve created, yet i’m always gonna be stubborn enough to keep going. whatever happens to "jackaltheblackal”, you can always rely upon that a "blackal instrumentals" tape will offer closure.  

i think this project also perfectly describes where i’m at right now. abundantly imaginative? of course. awfully scattered? yea, it’s a whole lot of mess. it’s a very, very rough craft of mine, and i've stressed about it way too many times. perhaps i’m overly meticulous about my approach to saying or writing words, so for now there isn’t anything i feel the motive to speak on. 

in this case, i don’t need to say something, because what’s offered is more than enough for me. i can acknowledge every beat tape made in this world is beautiful.
