I discovered an abandoned warehouse in my hometown. I took my laptop and a microphone in through a hole in the wall and captured as many different sounds as possible. Today, a year an a half later, those sounds have translated into this track - Alright.

Our favorite Sydney duo LA MAR spend most of their time writing behind closed doors, but every now and then we at STONEY ROADS RECORDS get treated to a glorious gem that sneaks out and into the world. This is one of those moments, and we are stoked to share it with you.

TRICK OF THE LIGHT is the first track lifted from their debut EP due out later in twenty fifteen, and it’s their first release since pairing up with German beatmaker Mazde on the track SHIFTED THOUGHTS late last year which has now clocked well over a million streams across the various platorms. The new one is a slow burner, 3 minutes 13 seconds of flawless programming, lush flute laden melodies, and a vocal that is simply going to do things to you.

Basically we love it. There’s a visual accompaniment to come in the next couple of weeks and a remix or two so stand by on those, in the mean time we present:
