Claude Debussy’s Clair de Lune is the third movement of his Suite Bergamasque, written for solo piano and completed in 1905. The title, meaning “Moonlight,” is inspired by Paul Verlaine’s poem, evoking a serene and reflective atmosphere. The piece is in ternary form (ABA):

    Opening (A):

This is thought by many to be the greatest piece of music ever written.  Jerry Davis completed his interpretation of the first two movements of this great symphony transcribing each note for each instrument into a MIDI sequencer within Cakewalk's Sonar X1 Producer.  The software for the instruments is East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra Platinum Plus.

The opening of the first movement of this great symphony resembles an orchestra warming up before it bursts forth with bombastic, boastful, blissful, blasts of emphatic emphasis.

This is thought by many to be the greatest piece of music ever written.  Jerry Davis completed his interpretation of the first two movements of this great symphony transcribing each note for each instrument into a MIDI sequencer within Cakewalk's Sonar X1 Producer.  The software for the instruments is East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra Platinum Plus.  There are an estimated 73,000 notes played in the 2nd movement.  From entry of each note to final mixing took approximately four months to complete this work, a true labor of love.

Beethoven called the first movement "Erwachen heiterer Empfindungen bei der Ankunft auf dem Lande" (Awakening of cheerful feelings upon arrival in the country).
