Dedicated to the teacher from Tucumán, Argentina, who was sanctioned for speaking her mind—a deeply unjust situation in a context where our president insults citizens who disagree with him by calling them "mandrills." While he dismisses those who think differently, he himself, his sister, and his officials are under investigation by Justice for corruption cases involving cryptocurrencies and bribes, which have deprived cancer patients and people with disabilities of vital medication, in addition to arbitrarily firing workers and dismantling the Argentine state to hand over our resources to foreign interests. This song is for her and for all teachers who instilled in me values of integrity, critical thinking, and love for knowledge during my studies. Thanks to all those teachers who inspired me to become a better student, poet, and person.
