Most of these recordings will be recorded with a TASCAM DR-05X Linear PCM recorder. Current guitar is a Lag Tramontaine. Some tracks recorded to gather ambient noise into the track.

Nose to the Grindstone is from the Kentucky-born Country Songwriter Tyler Childers. His bluesy style filled with rustic timbres is an amazing complement to his rough-yet-sweet voice.

A cover of '4+20' by Stephen Stills.

In my understanding, 4+20 is the story of the struggle of the working man growing up. 

Firstly comes the aspiration for wealth, being 'tired of being poor'. Then comes 'a different kind of poverty' as he achieves his financial dreams but realises his life is falling apart as his girlfriend/woman leaves him. Third comes a desolate ending as he considers suicide and turns to drink.

4_and_20 (Stephen Stills Cover)

This song describes someone in spiritual crisis, as the protagonist descends into isolation.

Purple Irises

Recorded whilst busking in Cambridge, an early version of my song 'Creatures'. 

I was performing on Christ's Lane, between Christ's Pieces park and Cambridge High Street, and I noticed the fantastic resonance of my amplifier bouncing off of the glass fronted buildings opposite me, so I decided to stick my Tascam recorder on. Despite some jarring sounds I feel that the ambience of the street adds to the track significantly, and I hope to record like this more in the future

A song I wrote for my brother and his Fiancee for their wedding. It is a song about letting go and trusting someone with your all your heart, and having a deep sense of trust with that person.
