My dad bought me the classic Giorgio Moroder/Donna Summer concept album.  After that, my guitar was no more. I loved the beautiful sound of the synths. I would say that I got my inspiration to start making music from bands of the 80's, but it was also my early days of DJ-ing that contributed as well.
