Jess has been writing songs since she was little. Growing up, her house was always littered with various notebooks filled with lines like 'oh baby I love you' and 'you've broken my heart'.
Jess had many ambitions growing up; to be an Olympic athlete, to be an actress, to create her own clothes line, but the one that never seemed to waver was to be a singer.
Surrounded by a musical and fully supportive family, Jess was encouraged all the way through school. When it came time to think about university, a degree in Commercial Music felt like the only exciting option to Jess and despite the rest of her family being Oxford or Cambridge graduates, she was only ever championed by her parents to follow her passions and talents.
Jess studied Commercial Music at Bath Spa University for two years before she graduated with a Two Year Foundation Degree in 2011. Since then Jess been busy writing new songs and taking her music further. 
In 2012 Jess realeased her single 'Voice for the Voiceless' on National Anti Slavery Day from which all the profits went to the Trauma Recovery Centre's (TRC) anti trafficking project which Jess works passionately with.
This saw her nominated for four Download Music Awards and performing at the awards night in London.
This year, Jess is working towards an album so watch this space...
