LQ demo (laptop recording) of a new song I'm working on; it's all about being disillusioned with, and finally abandoning the concept of everyone having a soulmate. I bought into that myth intensely most of my life, and I'm trying to rework my idea of love in its absence.  Which is not always a rosy place to be.

I've been playing the Hammered Dulcimer since I was 11, after being dragged out to Renaissance Festivals by my parents since the impressionable age of 3.  My mom taught me to play rhythm guitar when I was 12, mostly with traditional Irish pub songs.  I picked up Harmonica a few years back, and have been known to drum a little.

I grew up in Minneapolis, but made Austin my home spring 2013.  I couldn't be happier with that decision.

I'm just breaking out of a long musical drought, and pushing myself to collaborate and expose myself again.  I'm also dipping my toes into audiobook recordings (always a dream of mine), and hope to narrate lesser-known books which explore subversive themes.
