This song was inspired by the Beat Generation novel, Junky, and serves as a mirror into our current US society which is in the throes of a modern and seemingly universal heroin epidemic.

I hope you dig it and find it’s a fitting tribute to someone who had such an impact on so many lives, including my own, and even down to part of my own personal inspiration to persue music in the first place.  

Just very impacted by The Cranberries in my angst-laden youth, and had been debating on whether to put something together or not. As I was playing this song in my living room, I felt inspired to just go ahead and do it.
