“Ereeséon” is the upcoming album from Swedish composer Blameful Isles. With this project, he explores a more electronic oriented sound than any of his previous work. As he is known for his Jazz, Spiritual Jazz and Organic ambient music, this new album marks the beginning of a new chapter in his music career.  Ereeséon is indeed a mysterious and intriguing album, inspired by the golden era electronic and IDM music legends while keeping intact the organic and reactive style that Blameful Isles fans are so fond of. 

Today we share with you the first single off the album, entitled "Eranikus". The music sounds like jazz, but taken apart and rewritten by an artificial intelligence. As you start listening, the song grabs you and pulls you closer, liberating your mind and thoughts into an electronic landscape made of pixels that slowly fade in and out of focus as you approach. We invite you to sit back and meditate on this music, as we feel it's truly something special and worthy of your time. 

The full project art direction is led by Russian artist Julia Petrovia aka suspiciousobject. To present this incredible journey, we are taking a deep dive into her photography, and the cover for this first single represents a gateway towards the adventure ahead. (Please pay attention to the pink light, as this will prove to be important later on...)

This is just a first glimpse into this soon to be an epic album which, as said before, will mark a culminating point into Blameful Isles career as a producer.

Today we've got a treat for you with a new single from https://soundcloud.com/tanebeatz titled "Inspirational Speeches" as apart of our ongoing singles series "Parallel Voices", curated by @slowya_roll to spotlight forward thinking fusion, broken beat, and experimental jazz - really, anything that grooves. 

Tane's new track is a saucy addition to his already broad collection of tunes. Known for his minimalistic and tasty productions, Tane fuses the flavors of early 2000's hip hop and neo soul with elements of old school funk and fusion. His masterful guitar playing and arrangement skills are highlighted on this grooving track, taking as much inspiration from the current new jazz scene with artists like Kiefer and Tom Misch as it does the older legends like Herbie Hancock and Pat Metheney.

Tane's been cooking up syrupy tunes for years now, through releases with Chillhop and Sundae Sauce, Instagram collab videos, and has even gone above and beyond to create his own acclaimed sample packs + he teaches lessons on the side! A true renaissance man - we're extremely happy with this release and cant wait to see what else he's got cooking up.

Yuki (Kensho) is the second single taken from the upcoming album by Blameful Isles titled "Ereeséon" that will be released this summer on Urban Waves Records.
The beautiful, atmospheric song features composer and violinist Myrthe van de Weetering, who adds in a special touch. The strings and ambience create an otherworldly experience sure to draw you in. As you listen, you’ll be taken by feelings you didn’t know (or forgot) where there in the first place. This track is very emotional and deep, and you’ll soon find yourself enchanted by it's mysterious ways.

We chose to spotlight this track to showcase its beauty and incredible atmosphere, but also to display the broad range of Blameful Isle's sound.
This track also represents a brief period of "quiet before the storm". His forthcoming album contains some of the most up tempo works to date, and we've planned a third single before the final release that will perfectly demonstrate that.

Starborough's Passion, Obsession And Satisfaction Mix

Amalgam is the second single of the upcoming album by jazz pianist Joost Swart, drummer Bjorn Waling and producer Jesse Koolhaas. The recorded improvisations on grand piano, drums, and other instruments, combined with the sounds from Jesse Koolhaas’ vintage synthesizer collection and his experience as a film composer fuses into a refined blend of music. It’s electronic music mixed with jazz, funk and cinematic elements, and for Amalgam Danny Keen was asked to join in on electric guitar.

Six Shooter is a song that showcases the creativity and versatility of Joost Swart, Bjorn Waling, and Jesse Koolhaas. They recorded their improvisations on piano, drums, and various instruments, and mixed them with vintage synths and film scoring techniques. They also invited Reinier Baas and Jeroen Vierdag to add their guitar and bass skills to the track. Six Shooter is a song that will surprise and delight you with its musical diversity and richness.

Articulate and unpredictable, Niels Broos’ latest release experiments on the far-side frontier of post-millennium electronic jazz. An accomplished keyboardist from the Netherlands, Broos is a Red Bull Music Academy alum whose style curves skillfully into left-field. 
 
“Foliage EP” continuously mutates into something new, transformed by precocious arrangements and a profusion of sounds. Negative space is deftly molded, with slim shadows of genres seeping in at the seams: R&B, funk, ambient, trap, drum and bass. But the soul of the EP is jazz, with an improvised feeling of freedom that informs every note and every beat.
 
Title track “Foliage” indulges in a libertine exploration, slipping through the stacked layers of an intricate audial labyrinth. “When It Pours” sets loose in a synth-twisted groove, and “It Rains” stretches into an off-set slow jam. Drifting into intensity, “Plunge” flips a discordant daydream into a pulsing rush.
 
“Foliage EP” feels alive and on edge, another forceful contribution by Broos to his envelope-pushing ethos and divergent sense of sound.

Like all beat makers in our field, the underlying influences of Black music are integral to the rhythms, grooves, and structure of Vienna’s music. We must be held accountable in our community to honour these influences and stand with the Black community. We must use our position to share anti-racism resources and continue to produce music that makes us vibe. Ultimately providing the community with hope.
