This is the last song I recorded as Jesse Abraham Hudson. 

I met this beautiful soul at least twice before we dated. Every time the universe put us together I wanted to drown myself in her energy and I was not shy about it at all. 

Though things didn't work out as expected, my time with her did result in me discovering the fact that I've been a Transgender Woman. The realization might have not happened for years without her love and support. 

I wrote this song about her. The chords were inspired by the many James Bond intro songs I've heard in the past. The ending has an eerie twist inspired by the goth/horror connection that drew us to each other. It was fitting to the beautiful walks we took amongst the dead in the graveyards of Arizona.

From the womb to the tomb, Jesse Hudson has dedicated every fiber of his being to music. A complete band geek with classical training and a profound understanding of musical elements, Jesse utilizes his knowledge to seamlessly mash together bold EDM beats with catchy Pop lyrics. His lyrics are original, and his sound is uniquely robust (and reminiscent of great artists such as M83, The Weekend, Dillon Frances and Skrillex). His song portfolio is diverse and relatable, with songs that are certain to please the masses. Simply put: Jesse Hudson gets people, and keeps people, hype.

 

Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Jesse found himself inspired by the Old Town nightlife which greatly influenced some of his biggest hits, such as Girl in the Red (which has amassed over eight-thousand plays).  Through the use of high-energy rhythms and grungy lyrics, Jesse makes a satire of the Old Town club scene that people connect with. He sings about drunken nights and nameless girls, waking up in random places, being covered in micro glitter, and about the mock Beverly Hills lifestyle people try to live. But if there were to be a motif to his music, it would be to own it (#poplife).

 

Jesse Hudson has performed at numerous local venues, such as: HiFi, True Music Festival, School of Rock, McFaddens, and Shady Parks. He’s also opened for Manufactured Superstars, and G-Unit’s Hot Rod.

 

Currently, Jesse is stepping out of the studio (after nearly a year) and prepping to drop his four, original, EP’s.

He plans to partner with many of Arizona’s talented artists via remix and cover contests. He is also looking to book both DJ gigs and DJ/Live Vocal gigs.
