I grew up on Chicago’s on Northwest side playing sports, collecting comics, writing graf and break dancing. I’m a lover of all things music and I host a few shows for Chicago Public Media; The Music Vox, Live From Studio 10 and Vocalo on WBEZ. As part of CPM’s Vocalo initiative, I’ve helped the station establish itself as one of the city’s premier destinations for music discovery.
 My Vocalo shows regularly explore the culture and politics of Chicago’s independent music community through great music, artist interviews, and in depth discussion.  I believes that regardless of genre,  music tells a story that allows us understand one another’s culture and experiences.
