Island of Misfit UI

The assignment: to create a narrative environmental soundscape that would take the listener on a path through a few environments. I drew on what I knew and was inspired by some of Vancouver’s local flavor.

All the recordings were done binaurally. 

Binaural only works if the listener is recreating the original recording setup. So pop in your magic 3d earbuds and give it a whirl.

As for the content: I didn’t intend it to be quite so morbid. But the 100sec version is. And if you’re not quite sure what’s going on after the first listen, just go for it again.
