Here we are back again with our 31st release. This time @maxtelaer drives the bus and he takes us back to the days House music was real, uncompromised and raw. Max likes to seek some controverse in naming his tracks, because "i can't do it" is not in his dictionary. With already some great releases on @closertotruth, @gentsndandysrecords and @pogo-house-rec. He proves he is a real househead and kid of the 90's. His tracks always come with so much finesse and feeling you immediately get overwhelmed with a nostalgic feeling for those days.

Central to the Croatian House scene, PEZNT is making big moves with his fantastic debut album, Paid In Full. Featuring a range of key collaborators who all deliver pure gold, this panoramic album takes a journey through hip hop, soul, funk, r&b and all flavours of house music across 10 stunning new tracks and six remixes.

PEZNT is a characterful artist who brings real attitude and a wide range of influences to his music. His productions always start with a full blown party in mind, with a wry smile and a big heart as labels Defected, Toolroom, and Dirtybird are well aware. Now PEZNT show off his widest range of skills yet on a stunning album that is full to the brim with positivity, funk and groove

'Yours' with the brilliant Born I sets us off with a classic hip hop joint, then Dus joins the boys with Shyam P and the emotion meter hits 11 on 'Be Somebody'; a fusion of soul, bottom end drive and a groove so good it hurts. Born I appears again on track three and the gear steps up and the party lifts off as house meets hip hop on this previously released single 'Doin' My Thing'. There was an era of House music and the resurgence is real. Need You Now with Shyam P is a a slice of fat floor direct NY style House. Next is 'Japanese Disco' with James Curd, which is catchier than the common cold and has all the hands in the air moments required for massive dance floor destruction.

'Bad Girls' is a title we can all relate to and is a fire track with Masta Ace that has a fat dirty live baseline rolling out over a chunky drum groove. Dus makes a return on 'Red and Blue' as we take a break from the dance floor heaters to feel the emotion from the live drums, instrumentation and vocal delivery from Gregers that is pure gold.

'Burek' has that infectious roll that grabs you well before you knew it, Divine Essence brings the soul to 'Deep Down Inside', a classic deep house cut, and 'Dance On' is a closing track like it should be. Memorable and defining. Andy Roda holds an emotive vocal over what is a huge house monster. The six following remixes are all stand out cuts so dig into them and enjoy all the modern production, years of DJing and love of music that have gone into this brilliant record.

This is an album of real modern music dripping with quality and respect for House heritage, and is not to be missed.
