"SID 6581" is a concept album by Siderunda that draws deep inspiration from the golden age of video game soundtracks and retro electronic genres like synthwave and retrowave. With a vibrant neon aesthetic, it transports listeners back to the 80s arcade scene, infusing its melodies with the feel of classic chiptune and the warm analog tones of the legendary Commodore 64 SID 6581 sound chip.

This album merges the synth-heavy, driving beats of outrun music with the complexity of J.S. Bach's compositions. Siderunda uses this classical influence to add depth, weaving baroque-inspired counterpoints into energetic pop arrangements.
