Singer Jess Bell has a look of Debbie Harry and a delivery similar to Gwen Stefani, but she comes with a charisma all of her own. Her vocals are deep, gravelly and sultry and as she sings she rocks back and forth with the microphone stand – a fierce intensity in her eyes and a slight snarl to her lips. Jess honestly has more stage presence and self-possession that 90% of lead singers I have seen in young up and coming bands. She is utterly magnetic. Jess is the star of the band.
