I wrote this song, in 2018, for the father of my child whom I had met and loved when I was only 15 years old.  I thought he was the love of my life, and planned to grow old with him.  We were high school sweethearts — with a 3 year break after high school — before starting a family in 2010.  In 2020 he cheated and left.
