London based British-Pakistani producer, Ahadadream, returns to More Time with a solo 4-track EP of percussive and bass-filled energy.

2021 was a defining year for Ahadadream. Having been voted in Mixmag’s Top 21 DJs of 2021, he also started a new monthly residency on NTS whilst launching a new South Asian-focussed festival, Dialled In (where he played a surprise b2b with Skrillex!). Alongside being featured in Vogue India, publishing an RA mix and selling out the first date of his Colour Factory residency, the More Time label head has also been consistently scouting and releasing records on the label, the latest of which is his own productions.

The EP, entitled Homecoming, coincides with Ahad going back to his birthplace of Pakistan, for the first time in over 10 years, to play gigs and give workshops on DJing & production to young people aspiring to gain a pathway into the industry.

Conversely the project embodies his love for UK club music genres like UK Funky, jungle and grime whilst also touching on how deeply influenced he is by South African sounds like GQOM and Amapiano with ‘Rainfall’ utlising intricate drum programming and featuring the vocals of More Time family member, Mxshi Mo, from Pietermaritzburg, South Africa.

Ahadadream leans on his signature raw and playful percussive style, channelling the release of energy that post-lockdown clubbing brought forth. Having played memorable sets at We Out Here, Brainchild, Fabric, Mixmag’s The Lab and with a slew of dates lined up for 2022, the release of Homecoming encapsulates the rise of an in-demand producer.
