a cover as tribute to my late mother Julie Anne Donnelly (O'Connor) on her birthday. 
25/02/70- 23/02/2012. A lovely woman, she cared for children and the elderly, and then worked as a manager in Tescos where she made a lot of friends who loved her lots. she took great care of me and my siblings. she had a beautiful singing voice and could play piano.

A very lovely woman who I miss dearly. I've been asking the radio to send me signs, exploring new approaches to grief, although I'm not sure i'll ever know what happens when we die, but anyhow, when I heard the original song on the radio, i really thought it was sent from God, my mam, the universe. It can be hard to believe in any God, to have faith, or believe in fate when you watch a good person die. but at the same time, when bad things happen, its those things such as a God, or faith, or accepting your fate, that make these things much more bearable. and I think my mam put this song on the radio for me to cry to. or if not her, something. it reminds me of when my sister was trying on her wedding dress for my aunts and I, and my mams favourite song Bridge Over Troubled Water started playing on the radio in the shop. and we all cried and it was lovely.
