Defected is proud to revisit the legendary Todd Edwards catalogue with the fourth instalment of his House Masters Remixes, adding Majestic, Harry Romero, Soul Clap and Jay Robinson to the impeccable collection of house and garage artistry. Released in 2021, Todd’s original compilation demonstrated his approach to experimentation in its full glory; his entirely new sound, born from chopped up samples and vocal clips, helped birth the UK Garage genre while giving the American-born producer major underground credibility. Ever since those pioneering releases in the 90s, Todd has continued to inspire artists around the world, artists like Alex Mills whose glossy vocals feature on the new release spearheading the collection, ‘Wishing I Were Home’. This unreleased original shows Todd’s signature skippy style in full-flow, also receiving a remix from Platinum-selling producer Majestic, whose old skool influences blend with bassline-heavy house for an uplifting take on the new classic. Next up, fellow Defected House Master Harry Romero adds a New Jersey bounce to Todd’s vocoder-heavy ‘I Might Be’, before experimental production duo Soul Clap deliver two club remixes of ‘Winter Behavior’. DJ and producer Jay Robinson’s synth-laden version of ‘Can’t You Believe?’ closes out this bold collection of house and garage mainstays.

Alongside these classics, we have an R.i.P remix on the legendary U.S label Smack Productions' latest release 'Hold On', as well as an exclusive remix Scott Garcia's 'It's A London Thing'.

Taking things into 2015 we have tracks from the forthcoming R.i.P vs 10 Below e.p previewed only on this album, including the bass driven 'Chameleon', a 4/4 roller 'Back Again', and a tribute to one of the seminal underground venues in 'Dream Of Gass Club'.

Been waiting for 7 years for the full version of this unbelievable tune by Gabonese Zouk artist, Oliver N'goma. Played and destroyed at two of my favorite Boiler Room sets, Hunee @ Seoul and Palms Trax @ Dekmantel, both in 2018. The track was incorrectly titled 'Lina' when it blew up, but the correct track is 'Muendu' off the same album. Got the lossless copy of this recently but not sure when or where it was released, but none the less, enjoy the boogies (album art by me)
