As a kid, I was completely in love with the guitar in this song (if you haven't heard his 'Unplugged' album version... do yourself a favor...), but I never truly understood the lyrics and what exactly the song was about. Now that I'm older and understand the heartbreak this man went through with the tragic loss of his son... words can't express how much more this song amazes me. He wrote his feelings into music (as many song-writers attempt to do), and the result is painfully beautiful. So inspired. Had to put my twist on it and do a cover. Gotta love the Clap. Wait. What.
