Alternative Dance Music duo Pirate Radio take over Rapture Radio this week. Whether live sets or recorded ones, the duo aims to bring original content every time, by mixing live guitars and keys into their multi-genre dance music sets. Contessa also known as Contessa UV is a Los Angeles based DJ and producer who has become known for her dark and bassy sound. Contessa's vibe is unmistakable; whether it be deep progressive at a festival sunrise, or hard techno in an after hours warehouse. Contessa is the co-founder and organizer of Hollywood's Sunday night weekly event, Sunday Sanctuary. Founded in 2015, Sunday Sanctuary is devoted to underground techno and deep house, showcasing both local and international talent.
Contessa has signed multiple tracks to the UK based label, and appears on the albums DTLA (Deep Tech Los Angeles) Volume 1,2 and 3. DTLA has been highly successful, hitting Number 1 on Beatport all 3 times. Contessa’s work has been supported by numerous DJ’s, including Steve Lawler, Riva Star, Pirupa, Sirus Hood, Henry Saiz and Him_Self_Her.

I always like to curate my sets across a musical journey, and this one is no different. Starting quite slow, deep & melodic and lifting the energy across the 100mins. 

Really enjoyed putting this together during my annual break from the booze :)

I am spanish, but living in Liechtentein (a very small country beetwen Switzerland and Austria) since I was teenager.
I love music sice I was knowlodge. I have been listening to and going to eletronic music parties for 25 years. Well, as a result of that, he got it into his head that one day in this live still..(jajaja)..I had and wanted to learn to mix that genre of music.
After having bougth a mixer a year ago, and started practicing from almost zero..(thanks to my partners alias "Mr Green & Marko Cardona" that if they taugth me basics of how to start)
The rest were many hours of my free time, decation, sacrifice, repeat and repeat..(I´m sill in that work..) and above all, I have a lot of love for music left over.
Enjoy it people and I wish you all, the most important thing allways in life..but now even more, MUCH AND GOOD HEALTH!!!!
