The Resistance

Wisconsin winters can make people crazy. But "Hibernation" celebrates the opportunity to take a break and just shut down for a while. Over acoustic guitars, a simple keyboard pad, and quiet percussion, Jesús invites the listener to join him ("Come inside, I'll make some room").

Hibernation

A heart-stirring anthem featuring reverb-soaked acoustic and electric guitars soaring over a driving beat, calling to mind the late 80s stadium rock of U2 and Peter Gabriel. The “April” in the lyrics may refer to a woman or to the month, but the song is about faith - faith that things will turn around and get better.
