I've used footage of the opening ceremony for this 'quick and dirty' video.

Tokyo Melody (cover version)

The main title theme from Game Of Thrones played in a surf style.
There are already several "surf" versions of this in existence, it's a strong melody and lends itself to all sorts of interpretation (I've heard bluegrass and big band arrangements of it to name but two).
I've changed the tempo from 3/4 to 4/4.

Scooby Doo Meets The Munsters (cover version)

I absolutely adored this piece of music when I was a kid. The TV series was boring as h*ll but that music used to send me.
I was unsure I'd be able to work out how to play it, although it's a fairly straightforward melody what makes it interesting is that it seems to feature multiple key changes.
The original piece of music is in the key of Bb, not a guitar friendly key at all (I'm no jazz-er). I figured it out by playing along with the original putting a capo on the 1st fret and playing A shapes. Having worked out the chords I then removed the capo, transposing it down to A (well, the 1st part anyway, it modulates up to C and then to C# and then back to A, it's a technical old bit of composition).
Instruments used, Squier Jaguar, Squier Bullet Mustang, Squier Bronco Bass, Revelation Bass VI and Carlsboro ED130 drum kit.

Slight departure in style here.

I've been slightly obsessed with this song for years. This is an "easy-listening" style instrumental cover of it.
Featuring Electric Guitar, BassVI, Ukulele, Lap Steel, Keyboards, Drums & Percussion.
It's a right old clatter.

White Horses (cover version)

This is probably the last track I'll do for the TV21 album. I think ten is enough.
It's a short and snappy, surf arrangement, in MONO no less! I've tried to keep it as close to a "live band" arrangement as possible. 
There are three guitar tracks, both lead parts played on my Squier VM Jaguar, the rhythm played on my partscaster tele'. The bass line is on my Revelaton BassIV and the drums are played on my Calsboro CD130 electric kit.
It's a tricky tune this, the melody is very technical and not easy to just jam. I'm pretty sure I've got some of the chords wrong but they kind of work with the garage-surf arrangement I've gone for.

An instrumental cover version of the song that played over the end credits to the TV series 'Monkey' in a vaguely surf/spy style.

I've always liked this tune and fell it really lends itself to this style. I've added an intro (with a heavy nod to John Barry) and a key change into the 3rd verse.

The latest addition to my recordings in the "surf" style.
Yet another cover version of a TV theme tune. I'm evidently on a nostalgia binge with these tunes.
This one features my first recorded attempt at Dick Dale style tremolo picking on the 3rd verse.
Video footage is (as ever) from an old movie that is now public domain.
Lead guitar is my Squier Jag, rhythm parts on my Danelectro U2, bass is via my Squier Bronco and there's the inevitable Revelation BassVI.

The Flashing Blade (cover version)

Slight change in style here. 

A cover version of John Barry's classic theme from The Persuaders., played on various guitars.

Chords and rhythm tracks are played on my Squier VM Jaguar. The bass is doubled with my Jerry Jones "Baby Sitar". The main melody is initially picked out on my Revelation BassVI and then doubled for the second pass with electric 12 string. The drum kit is my Carlsboro CSD130.
