Belgian live electronic trio NIAC is back with their second full length album, 'Descend'!

Being in the works for about a year and a half, the sophomore effort by NIAC comes with seven new original tracks. It was a long process with a lot of ups and downs, a journey of self-discovery with periods of self-doubt and confusion.

Finally, the album was finished and NIAC has managed to take the next step in their musical evolution. Maintaining the atmospheric mood and retro sound with the rock/metal elements while at the same time finding a way to 'grow' was a challenge but one that was ultimately successfully met.

“Loss & Decay” is Gör FLsh’s fourth album. It features some of his most elaborate compositions yet with the Canadian also picking up the mic for the first time and recording his own vocals for this long awaited album. This isn’t the only fresh addition and change since his last album “Forgotten Rites”. 

Longtime fans will remember that the Gör FLsh sound has evolved through the years, becoming heavier and filthier with each new release. So it will come as no surprise to them that the overall aesthetic and sound on “Loss & Decay” has shifted even more towards pure “metal” song structures and “traditional” metal sound. 

The majority of the material is moving between Doom, Death and Black Metal while still capturing Gör FLsh's signature Electronica sound of fusing genres. You can also expect Post Rock, Shoegaze, and even Ambient Drone influences. Don’t be fooled though, despite the production and influences Gör FLsh remains loyal to his concept of creating fully Electronic Metal with no real instruments recorded (except his voice) and sticking to his digital heavy guns, making “Loss & Decay” one the heaviest and filthiest Electronic music albums of the year. It's also the Canadian's most mature and personal album on his almost 15 year long musical journey so far under the Gör FLsh moniker. And for those following his work since the early days, the evolution and development from album to album is clearly evident. 

“Loss & Decay” is what happens when an artist sets himself free of the boundaries and limitations of genres and creates true art. Fans of Gost, Wolves In The Throne Room and Paradise Lost rejoice...

Dale Mulder is the Synthwave project of Belarusian-Ukrainian musician Adam Brahman. Having previously participated in a number of bands and other musical projects, Dale Mulder came to life in 2020.

Assalm’s debut LP “Rivera” (out late 2016) receives a complete transformation with “Rivera Remixed”. And as is often the case when remixing an album of such unique character and wide spectrum of influences that range from Techno to Trap and from Electronica to Darksynth/Darkwave can be a very challenging task. After spending most of the summer locked away in a studio somewhere in France, M.A.D.E.S is back and ready for action with the first single from his upcoming debut LP (out winter 2018).

“Nightkiller” is a dark, riff driven, yet melodic Synthwave original song dealing with the themes of nightmares, murder and things that go bumping in the night, showcasing the French artist’s ability to create atmosphere and narrate his own stories through his music. A suspenseful drive through neon lit scenery leading into some pretty unfortunate results for the protagonists, as the accompanying music video very successfully depicts.

But that’s not all because M.A.D.E.S has even brought in some reinforcements too, with Denmark’s dark Synthwave powerhouse Daniel Deluxe and the incredibly talented newcomer Wice remixing “Nightkiller” and delivering their own versions of M.A.D.E.S’ original.

Parisian artist Assalm is back with his second album, “Slay”. Ten brand new original tracks blending elements of Electronica, Techno and dark Electro with the characteristic deep and atmospheric sound the French artist established in his debut album “Rivera”. While his debut though followed a more playful approach by even adding elements of Trap into the mix, Assalm’s sophomore album takes a more minimal and stripped down direction. The LP opener “Midnight” will immediately catch the listener’s attention with its atmosphere before the heavy hitters “Oblast” and “Valkyrie” kick in to get the blood pumping and set the mood for the rest of “Slay”. This is definitely Assalm’s most mature and complete outing to date but then again that’s probably only going to last until his next release. Either way, enjoy!

Irving Force and the soundtrack that follows him was created by Adam Skog, a metal musician from Stockholm turned electronic music producer. 

His love for sci-fi, horror as well as action films of the 80′s and 90′s guides him as he scores the scenes for the retro-futuristic Irving Force movie playing in his head. A master at blending the retro synth sounds with more modern ones, Irving Force creates music with a strong retro electronic vibe but also with enough aggression to give it an electro-industrial-rock edge, something that his new single “Violence Suppressor” makes quite clear with its Thrash Metal influences and Cyberpunk aesthetics. 

Add 3 remixes by some of dark Synthwave’s baddest boys around too, namely Gör FLsh, Volkor X and Hollywood Burns and this “Violence Suppressor” crime fighting unit becomes so metal it even makes Robocop look like a lightweight.

After what's been undoubtedly a great year for M.A.D.E.S with his 'Nightkiller' single and video being selected as the best Synthwave single and video of 2017 by a number of blogs, his debut album 'Motor' is finally here.

Nine brand new and previously unheard tracks (plus the singles 'Nightkiller' and 'Miami Life') which move between more melodic Synthwave and Darksynth, with the lovely Circe Electro also lending her voice on' Lights'. Right from the opening seconds and intro through to the high octane 'Nightkiller' or 'Escape', this is an album that is as much atmospheric as it is melodic and hard with the French artist finding the perfect balance between all those influences and sub-genres in what is not just M.A.D.E.S' most complete work up to date but also one of the biggest Synthwave albums to come out in 2018.

For all those who have been following M.A.D.E.S' previous work they should already have a good idea what they can expect from 'Motor'. For the rest, prepare for an action packed album full of thrills, suspense, murder and high speed car chases. Following the great response and feedback Irving Force's future-thrash 'Violence Suppressor' single received, the Swedish power-synth act is back with his second (and last) single from the forthcoming 'Godmode' LP.

Set in an urban dystopian future where crime overlords rule the streets, 'Overlord' is a story about the rise to power and fall from grace. Leaving his Thrash Metal influences that were definitely put into focus on 'Violence Suppressor' behind, Irving Force has chosen a less extreme route for 'Overlord' which follows a more Cyberpunk aesthetic.

Nightcrawler, Occams Laser and M.A.D.E.S have also joined Irving Force on this new adventure with three remixes and together they prepare for the big final battle.

After a couple of remixes and self released EPs, Argentina's Donbor joins JST with his new EP 'Forget'.

Three new original Synthwave tracks with the characteristic Donbor sound and trademark deep, somewhat melancholic Cyberpunk tone he introduced with his classics 'Smoke' and 'Against The Law'. Hailing from the cold and dark Yakutia region of Russia, Revizia is a project by electronic music producer Alex D. Debuting on JST with his first official release titled “Phantom”, not much is known for this obscure dark Electro producer, other than his love for aggressive bass, dark atmosphere and mid-tempo hypnotic rhythms.

“Phantom” LP focuses on a series of events taking place in a certain city (which is never revealed) sometime in the near future with an unknown and unseen entity terrorizing the local population. But does it even exist if it can be felt but not seen? Or is it all an illusion and another figment of our imagination trying to disguise human committed monstrosities as something supernatural?

"Phantom" sets a dark mystical atmosphere right from the opening seconds with “Massacre”, which it maintains throughout the seven original tracks and the whole thirty four minutes. Each track is a chapter in the mystery and dark lore surrounding “Phantom” with the almost hypnotic rhythms and haunting melodies bursting into explosions of energy and aggression. If descriptions like dark Electro or Horror Techno sound intriguing and interesting, then “Phantom” is definitely for you.

Following his impressive debut on JST back in December 2018, Russian dark electro/techno prodigy Revizia is back with a brand new EP!
