The final challenge. Ironically, in this battle, superior stabilizes his power to his normal level in his dream form, which is obviously unequal to yours. This time, he wants to test your power, and how you can use it in conjunction with your skills.

Vs Novedream Superior

Superior seems to be a natural at combat. He has a fairly balanced style that adequately tests your growth over the course of your journey. In fact, Superior's ability is to define balance, stability, and equality. In this battle, he equalizes his power to match your level in order to test your pure skill. His presence is welcoming, but in an "I welcome any challenge, let's see what you've got" kind of way.

Vs Superior

In this form, Del Aura gets a huge boost in energy, making her almost exactly like Del Astra. Her creative mind is accentuated, allowing for her to come up with new attacks and abilities on the spot. Her defensive take is thrown out the window, and her confidence is revealed. At the end of this battle, you would hug her as your (the character you control's) own form of apology, and she forgives you. She actually had fun during the battles and was proud of herself, something she'd never thought she'd feel in this situation.

Vs Imadream Del Aura

Although she possesses significant abilities for battle, Del Aura is not used to fighting like the others are. She relies mostly on Del Astra and Cor Caroli (Like Del Astra, she calls him Del Sol too) to train her, and it was a VERY long process. As a result their fighting styles have rubbed off on her own. Del Aura is also the most creative of the commanders, which is shown in her own fighting style, a more defensive take on Del Astra's. She has the ability to create anything she sets her mind to, even conceptual things, as long as she has a general understanding of it. This theme represents how her training has paid off, and how she's grown.

Vs Del Aura

The fight against Libadream Del Astra is similar to the previous one, but on a faster and more difficult level, and now she can use some of your abilities as well. She is constantly on the offensive, forcing you to wait for the perfect moments to strike.

Assuming you chose to fight the commanders you haven't before, Del Astra is first up.

Del Astra has a very active fighting style. She can use the abilities of other commanders and combine them to create something unique although at a much more limited scale than in her higher forms. She likes to get in your face and spook you like Cor Caroli, but she always waits for the right opportunity to do so, unlike Cor Caroli who typically forces an opportunity to open. She's also very good at landing combo attacks so you'd have to be careful not to let her catch you off guard, or else a huge chunk of health could be taken from you just like that.

Vs Del Astra

You and Moondream Odera manage to defeat Voidream Apnea, and just as you were about to catch your breath, Apnea's entire being started to violently shake and distort in utter chaos. Apnea states that he will have to return to his original form as a hyper-dimensional astral being in order to purge you and Odera's existence. You and Odera are frozen in fear, and reality crumbles around the two of you as Apnea, no, HYPERDYME APNEA emerges at his 100%. Odera says that there is one last sliver of hope left: for you and him to merge together to become a hyper-dimensional being yourselves. Normally, this is nearly impossible for stronger astral beings to do, but since the two of them are closely linked in extreme desperation and friendship, it should work, but only for a short amount of time. Odera says that he overheard this information from Del Astra sometime in the past by chance.

Another note: Every commander has a Hyperdyme form, and normally, Hyperdyme themes would be borderline unintelligible, so they've been heavily modified by a certain astral being to suit human perception beyond the 4th wall as opposed to abstract perception.

OMNISHAMBLES

The first battle against Apnea is wild and chaotic, affecting the surroundings just as much as it's affecting you and Odera. Since his attacks aren't very focused, you and Odera have opportunities to avoid them.

Odera is fighting to pursue satisfaction in himself rather than to pursue satisfaction in others’ view of himself, which means that he is happy traveling with you. You are fighting to continue your journey to discover the amazing things that the astral plane has to offer, but over the course of your journey, you realize that when you first entered the astral plane, you (the character you control) were very selfish and callous, and still are by nature, but not to the same extent. you have learned to feel a bit of shame as a result of del aura’s action against you, ignoring del astra’s warnings, and harming the loads of astral beings that were in your way, although it was mostly self defense. You want to make up for your actions, apologize to Del Aura, and to get along with the other commanders, but Apnea just doesn’t understand.

Vs Apnea

After the last stage, Apnea appears, bringing a certain darkness about him that leaves you and Odera deeply unsettled. Apnea notices that you aren't from the astral plane, and even though he knows that Odera is an overseer, he still decides that neither of them serve any meaningful purpose in the grand scheme of things.

Apnea is a being of chaos and darkness. His humanoid figure features plenty of jagged edges, and he has a mostly black, but also grey and red complexion. He’s like a bundle of chaos contained in a shell of pure void. His looks are volatile and intimidating. There is a thin line between everything and nothing, and apnea rests on the edge.

The aura he gives off clearly communicates that it'd be insanely difficult to try and reason with a being like him. He does have an actual role as the astral plane's sole filter, but ever since Ether was lost, he's sort of lost his own filter, and has been acting out of line. It's gotten so bad that Superior had to watch him, but because of more important matters, he had to step away, allowing for this unfortunate situation to arise.

Apnea

As Arama the Second foresaw, things have gotten way out of hand. If he hadn't lent you some of his power, you would not be able to battle Mentadream Mu Phantazein at all. It would be the same situation as with Sundream Cor Caroli.

Alongside a power boost from Arama the Second, that power ends up unlocking your potential (which is Arama's specialty). This will allow you to nearly catch up in power to the commanders in their dream states (their second forms).

Vs Mentadream Mu Phantazein

This theme represents mini bosses that are a bit tougher than normal. You find one of these enemies at the end of Mu Phantazein's Astral Sector.

Auroral Sector D-Au is Del Aura's private space. A lot of her personal creations and possessions can be found here, and visitors make her very uncomfortable. The only beings she allows here are the astral beings that she created, and her sister, Del Astra. You'd expect there to be little to no astral beings around, but there are actually a LOT of them, mostly harmless beings created by Del Aura.

Stage 13: Auroral Sector D Au

Immediately upon your re-entry to the Astral Plane, you are greeted by another commander: Del Astra. Del Astra tells you that she’s been observing you from afar, and she doesn’t think that you're a serious threat to the Plane. She thinks that the others are overreacting to your presence and are just skeptical because of you entering from Outer Space (i.e. the Physical Plane).

Del Astra has a very extroverted and fun personality, but she is also known to get pretty serious in a similar manner to Cor Caroli. Unlike Cor Caroli though, she is not one who is quick to anger. She can be very patient for how active she is, but is also known to be quite stubborn. She thinks of Cor Caroli as a brother, and often refers to him as "Del Sol". She tries to stay positive in most situations, but sometimes, she lets her stress slip out, terrifying the other astral beings. She cares a great deal about her twin sister - Del Aura, often mentoring and helping her where she can, but she also is criticized by Del Aura for being disorganized, and on the contrary, receives a lot of help from her.

Del Astra is quite bold looks-wise. Her outfit boasts creativity and is ever so slightly risque. She is confident in herself, and her outfit truly shows it. Del Astra's skin is a lighter shade of purple or lavender, and she wears a mini-cloak over her clothing. (This is all I can think of for her looks).

0:28 - Suddenly, the background shifts to a distorted, multicolored overlay. Along with it a large and rather abstract set of eyes appear, like a face without the head. It forms two giant hands, and within those hands manifests a small dark, cat-like creature, who is given the name, "Onei," Short for όνειρο (Oneiro), the greek word for dream, which is who the player shall control. The giant eye-hand projection then sets its creation adrift through space towards an abstract looking rift. The rift is the entrance to the edge of the astral plane.

Like my previously uploaded song, this song was also made for a friend's upcoming Roblox game called "Leyline." Their game is still in development, but they insisted that I upload some of the music that they had me create for the game, so here it is :D

You work at a cybernetic research & development facility. Your job is to aid your coworkers in the upkeep of a cybernetic portal. Word on the street is that the portal's destination is supposed to be the Astral Plane. Sadly, you're the one who is always pulled aside to do the things that nobody else wants, like cleaning the damn toilets.

The day shift is a simple, passive factory simulator. The night shift is an extremely overwhelming and downright unbearable mess of unreasonable demands, and angry corporate big names. Not tonight. This is where everything changes. Tonight is the night you break the contract that binds you to this job. Screw the consequences, you want your life back, and you'll get it by any means necessary. This night shift will turn into an aggressive beat 'em-up; as you slowly walk towards the exit of the facility without permission, ai enforcement units are deployed to put you back in your place. You will need to use whatever cybernetic tech is around you at the time to break out.. including that damn toilet plunger.

Jaws of Steel was VERY heavily inspired by Spear of Justice and Bergentrückung/ASGORE. As a matter of fact, Vodnyk himself is inspired by both Undyne and Asgore. I used the same general soundfonts that Toby Fox used for Undertale, and I really wanted to try and match his style while adding a bit of my own flair to things. As always, I wish for the opportunity to share this with him, because he's one of the people I respect the most in my entire life, but I accept the fact that he won't see this, especially considering how many more fan creations there are. Still, Thank you Toby Fox for changing my life, you'll always be in my heart.

Mechanical Babel (Jetdarc Remix)

There's something oddly familiar about Odera that makes him stand out from the other beings. It reminds Onei of when he was drifting through outer space in the Physical Plane before he entered the Astral Plane. Despite this being his planet, the native beings avoid him like they avoid Onei, which is very strange, but this is the least of Onei's concerns at the moment as he fights for his future in an epic battle! Odera's abilities are a mixture of spatial and dream-like power. Whether he pelts Onei with mystic comets or confuses him with surreal illusions, Odera has an abundance of options at his disposal, making for an unpredictable battle.

There is a vexing shift as an utterly incredible aura is felt. It's nothing like the strong being before, and despite how intimidating it is, there's also something quite sad about it. The aura's source is revealed as Onei is confronted by an extraordinary being, introducing himself as Odera, the Overseer of this area.

Odera looks to be a bright blue humanoid figure with burgundy & purple wristbands, its straps long and flowing (This is all I've got for details, sorry). He looks just like the planet you're both on right now. It's very obvious that he's trying to look cool and imposing, but his true nature as an eccentric and silly being rings true every time. Regardless, his power also rings true as he steps up to eliminate Onei, who is perceived as an imminent threat.

After entering the rift, things seem to have become more abstract and full of wonder. Onei is still drifting through space, but something's different... It's more than just space now. Mario Kart 8 Super Star Theme (Jetdarc Remix)

After Onei successfully pushes through his sectors, Cor Caroli has had enough. Onei is stopped in his tracks as an incredible aura smacks him in the face. It's time for the big battle. Cor Caroli blocks his path, ready to destroy him.

Cor Caroli boasts a rushdown attack style. He is very quick, which is shown in the multitude of rapid feints that he tries to deceive you with. He lacks in the defense department, but this is offset by his sheer power and speed. He blasts lots of stars at onei, and he'll occasionally blast faster and more precise miniature star-like projectiles to switch things up.

Vs Cor Caroli

Odera controlled this small part of the astral plane, but ever since his defeat, Cor Caroli, his superior, has taken over. Remnants of Odera's legacy have been left behind, but defenses have been risen tremendously, and the journey continues to get even more difficult.

Onei arrives in an open astral structure close to the star. It resembles his first adventure on Odera's planet but is much less forgiving. There are more hostile beings that seem militant by nature, and he won't be able to proceed the same way as before, but Onei believes it's all a part of the fun, after all, no pain, no gain.
