This is a little demo of new (for version 0.9.8) BPM syncable LFOs the sync divider can be modulated. in this it is being modulated by a chaos generator, and the LFO in turn is modulating the output envelope sustain level and oscillator parameters. the oscillators are basic sin and orgone 3x with wave table #2. the long and short extra pulses are the LFOs changing their BPM division.

A tribute to the world's most underrated pioneers of modern electronic music! 

Starting as the house band at Sugar Hill records, Keith LeBlanc, Doug Wimbish and Skip McDonald hooked up with Adrian Sherwood to form Tackhead (aka Fats Comet). Working together with Mark Stewart (as Maffia) and Gary Clail (as Tackhead Sound System) they produced some of the most exhilarating, funky and down-right experimental electronic music of the 1980s. This set charts their career from 1984-1989, mixing in rare dub mixes, alternate versions and interviews with the band members themselves. It's time they got their dues; it's time to Play It All Back: "Tackhead in the Area!"

The first part is the dry signal.  The second part is the modulated delay signal from the HEADLine.  The third part is the sum of the two signals - the chorus effect.

A single square wave tone fed into 1 of the 2 filters and frequency swept with a repeating ramp CV. Some echo added for fun.  Response pot turned slowly to self oscillation.  Pushing beyond the point of 1st self oscillation creates large amplitude heavily distorted sound in the High Pass Filter. So you can certainly get sweet or very nasty filtering :0).

DHPF Test 1

This is a test on audio fed into filter 1 only.  CV is a sine wave gradually increased in level to give vibrato  effect. Also playing with frequency and response pots  ..to demonstrate removal of fundamental and higher harmonics from the mix.

DHPF Test2

If you listen with headphones, or at least in front of stereo speakers, you will hear the "Haas stereo transform" which is one of the ways the 2 channels of the Dust of time oscillator can be separated. It is a repeating sequence (on Michigan synth works chronovore 303 sequencer) the second gate of DoT is controlled by accent. The DoT is playing through a delay effect (E520) so you can hear the stereo Haas effect comes through even a long repeating delay. 

The Osc patch on the Dot, is Swarm and a waveEdit file, each side has a dynamic/distortion effect with the amount modulated by the "accent" gated envelope.
