An artifact from 2020, discovered underground in the midst of sheer chaos. I was all alone at this time, driven into isolation by imposing forces. My carelessness sent me into a dark hole from which I could not return, and so it appeared that the only way out was through. That marked the beginning of my journey. After that point, I was able to unearth something I had previously thought lost: the secret to the music that ran through me, otherwise known as "the lost language."

It was there, in that cold realm of stone and darkness that a beautiful light emerged. The beacon shone onto the cavern walls to reveal what was really there all along, right beneath my feet. The characters spelled out the answer; I knew it was true, but I could not quite make out what it said. To me it seemed a garbled mess... at first. I just couldn't help but feel that it was somehow familiar. So there was no choice but to live with it, become one with it. I spent every waking moment attempting to decode the cipher.

Since the time I vanished, I have been preparing for a return from the years of silence. Thus, the lost language has been brought back into the light of the world so it can be spoken once more. It was a long and lonely road to get back to this point, but the treasures I found along the way made the journey worth it, and they are finally ready to be shared.

Silk Royal is very pleased to present the imprint's first ever 'Remixed' compilation, featuring new interpretations of back catalogue favorites by Solarity, Matt Lange, Urban Breathe and Ad Brown, Jacob Henry and Approaching Black, Sean Marx, G-Tek, Derek Howell, Claes Rosen, and Jason Bradberry. The first three cuts in the package, supported on radio by the likes of Mark Pledger, Solarstone, and Richard Durand, were previewed on February's Silk Royal Showcase 01 compilation, but were previously unavailable as full-length versions. Kicking off the release, Soundprank treats us to a visionary interpretation of Jacob Henry and Approaching Black's "Yesterday's Tears." Walking the line between progressive house and progressive trance, the epic breakdown in this one insures a hands-in-the-air reaction from the peak-hour set.
