The Belgian duo, Filterheadz is back with another three-track storming EP. This time the served us three different tracks with different styles. The first one, 'Enigma', is more jacking and raw, while the second one, 'Euphoria', has their trademark sound of euphoric melodies while maintaining great energy. They are finishing off this EP with 'Seatle' a stabby groove track that does the damage on the floor. All tracks are different yet fit together nicely for this release.

Jeton is celebrating a milestone: 15 years and 200 releases. The label, founded by Ferhat Albayrak in 2009 and based in Istanbul, reflects the meeting culture of East and West in Istanbul for centuries. For years, it has been a base for upcoming new breeds, as well as a respected regular place for artists. From the dawn of time, it has been only Techno, with at least one release per month for 15 years in a row. Now, Jeton has become a place that few imprints can reach, with a monument of sustainability for years.

JET200 is an 8-track celebration from our best artists, colleagues, and friends, reflecting our approach to the future. Jeton has also become the biggest Techno promoter in its region, by serving the best possible music and atmosphere available globally. The 15-year celebrations will be started in Istanbul end of summer with great events.

We would like to thank all our fans, artists, collaborators, co-partners, and contributors for being with us for all 15 years. Without you, this journey could not have happened.

For release number 198 we welcome Dave Davis and ID10-T, that bring along their huge baggage of knowledge in the area of dance music, from playing at big festivals like May Day to releasing early classics on the Belgian label Bonzai in the 90’s and now delivering a 4-track EP on our very own Say What?

We start with the title track 'Boomerang' - a rolling funk-driven four-to-the-floor anthem that keeps pushing with its hypnotic sequence, dancefloor friendly arrangement and pulsating bass that makes the track flow like a wave of energy.

Next up is 'Scratch', bringing back the French Touch time with its disco influenced groove and use of samples. The crafty bass that runs through the track will keep you full on focussed on dancing the night away!

Third on the release is 'Axis', where chords and vocal snippets modulate in perfect harmony, bringing you into a state of total bliss while the low end rumble evinces that Dave and ID10-T produced the perfect early morning tune!

Last but not least is 'Junk Funk' and as the name already states it’s a funky affair that whether experienced in the heat of a packed nightclub or in the solitude of a darkened room with headphones it is sure to leave a lasting impression!

Carlo Lio’s 'Omnism' on Nicole Moudaber’s MOOD kicks off with dusty, brushed metal beats that rumble away beneath an increasingly trippy vocal sound. It serves as a call to action for the dance floor as the tough but warm beats punch out their pattern and hi-hats up the intensity. There is a darker vibe to Lio’s 'Da Ruckus', which has hammering percussion as a distorted voice and prying synths build to an irresistible peak. Last but not least, the fantastic 'Kenosho' rides on funky broken beat loops with pulsating synths and heavy bass, culminating into another explosive club cut.

Canadian Carlo Lio is a globally recognised talent who runs the Rawthentic Music label and has appeared on esteemed labels like SCI+ TEC, Truncate, and Edible. He is a tight, technical DJ who is famous for his fast, deep and pulsing tech-house and groovy, stripped-back techno, as he shows here on this outstanding offering for Moudaber’s MOOD.

There have been many highs and lows, but what kept us going was the true passion for honest house and techno and always trying to push forward! Ramon Tapia was born and raised in Holland, with a Dutch mother and Chilean father – his upbringing had an eclectic mix of cultures which in turn developed and influenced his decision to become a musician.

Christian Smith is one of the world’s leading exponents of techno, both as a DJ and producer he is always bold and innovative. With his output in recent years it is hard to imagine a list of prolific producers without his name towards the top. He has been at the top of his game for over two decades with his trademark groovy techno.

Although Swedish by birth, Christian spent most of his childhood years in Frankfurt, Germany which no doubt played an unexpected role in determining his musical tastes from a young age. After spending time in the US studying, Christian moved to Sao Paulo, Brazil playing the best clubs in the city and surrounding regions, where he still loves to play today and continues to have a very big following.

In 1995 he started his label Tronic, since then it has dominated the charts with releases from Christian himself and the likes of ANNA, Enrico Sangiuliano, Paco Osuna, Drunken Kong, Wehbba, Ramon Tapia, and more. The label has been the top selling techno label in the world according to Beatport, and is soon to celebrate its 500th release.
Tronic also has a weekly show which is now syndicated to over 100 stations worldwide, their 500th show was celebrated with special guest Carl Cox and now in 2022, they are already fast approaching the 600th episode.

Christian has dominated the charts and DJ’s playlists with a steady flow of releases on many high profile labels like Drumcode, Filth On Acid, Trick, Symbolism, Bedrock, and Tronic. His last EP on Tronic reached #1 spot on Beatport in both Techno and Electro in January of 2024. During the pandemic, Christian had a weekly Tronic Thursday stream which has reached over 10M people. On the remix front, Christian has recently reworked a track by UK hip hop superstar "Stormzy". His music is regularly featured on Spotify's biggest playlists and Christian is currently enjoying a big boost in his career.

Christian also ventured into his own branded night in Ibiza at mega club Eden. His first season on the Island in 2019 had 15 consecutive weeks of events and was a huge success. Christian was also invited to host Tronic events all over the world from Tokyo, Detroit, Los Angeles, and London amongst many others.
