phuture: Your sound is becoming even more organic alongside textures that we hear in no other music. Any clues as to how?

Pacific Patterns : Field recordings, automating delay and reverb. Stretching and warping samples and re sampling them. Making custom wave tables in serum, re-sampling them, then put it back into serum.

Phuture: What made the name “Glimmer” feel right for the track? Any particular reason you decided to go with that title?

92elm: I was going through a strange transitional period at the time, and writing music was really providing me with my main source of positivity. “Glimmer” felt right because the song evoked a sense of joy in me, when other things in my life weren’t necessarily doing that.

Swamp Music serves as an independent record label based in San Diego, CA that brings you dark psychedelic, glitchy, bass sounds from the deep. Since February 2014 Swamp Music has released squishy beats via “name your price” downloads on BandCamp and their own database.
Incorporating elements of IDM, glitch-hop, dubstep and drum n bass, the sounds of the label weave together a fractal web of digital frequencies. An orchestra of futuristic sounds fill the mid and high ranges, while the underlying bass tones deliver the frequencies that move your body.
