Legendary Berlin duo Dole & Kom have been in the business together for quite some time. Besides a good friendship, they've developed a strong signature sound, which has granted them releases on top labels. With 'Yukema', the artists return to Inner Shah after a first appearance on remix duties.

The A-side gives name to the EP, and it is a powerful club tool - 'Yukema' is infused by catchy riffs and deep atmospheres and exalts the duo's understanding of the dance-floor. While a pumping bassline drives the body, hypnotic and ethereal highs drive the mind.

'Whirring' takes a deeper approach while keeping an hypnotising packaging, driven by groovy stabs and halted by a long dreamy break. The B-side comes as the perfect complement to the EP, showcasing Dole & Kom's trademark groove.

The latest release from Tash's Movement Limited welcomes Nikko.Z to the label for his debut single. As one of Movement Recordings core contributors early on, the Greek producer made his label debut in 2012 with a remix of 'Sandcastles' by Yves Eaux and Arnold from Mumbai. Well received, it set the course for Nikko to deliver nine originals and five remixes over the next six years, closing out that run with a thrilling rendition of 'No Sleep' by Marc De Pulse which landed in June of 2018. Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music, Antrim's Or Two Strangers and Madloch's Sound Avenue have all played host to Nikko's groovy progressive vision over the course of his near two decade long career, with his own flagship imprint Dopamine Music being a primary home of late. Having gotten the year underway with a remix for SLC-Music, Nikko now makes his debut on Movement's Limited division with 'Anatole', alongside remixes from Sebastian Sellares and HAEN.

The original mix is an apt barometer of where Nikko's headspace is at, with heartfelt themes descending over a bed of warm wavy grooves and retro rhythms. Glowing overlays add depth and emotion across the first act, as percolating arps open up, guiding the journey into a trance-inducing interlude, before breaking off into a rush of flickering percussive arrangements and vibrant melodies for a colourful finale.

Next up on Poesie Musik are Helsloot & Tom Zeta with two killer new cuts designed for maximum impact in the club. Helsloot has had great success on the label before, and he does so again here with his 'Amora' collab with Tom. 

Amora is the opener and brings plenty of dark energy in the synths which lash out like lightning. The rolling drums are super smooth and form a great foundation for the melodic drama to unfold. Bravoure then brings a more wonky and unhinged groove with lumpy drums and trippy synths. They make for a great and fresh rhythm that builds and builds and is sure to lock in the club. 

These are two more original and thoroughly forward thinking tunes from Helsloot & Tom Zeta.
