One day, war broke out between the two races.
After a long battle, the humans were victorious and sealed the MONSTERS underground with a magic spell.
As years go by, 8 total children fell down and never returned.
Including the last soul needed to fulfill the MONSTERS' hopes and dreams...

        Earth was in peace, inhabitants such as the HUMANS and MONSTERS exhibit harmony for years. Yet, a terrible fate has settled between them. Fearing that HUMANS will fall dire to MONSTERS grabbing and absorbing their precious soul, they massacred most of the entirety of the MONSTERS. After encapsulating MONSTER-kind, they were left to suffer and endure the areas of the UNDERGROUND. Years later however, a human fell. This human was treated by the prince, Asriel, and took them, not as an enemy, but a friend and eventually, a sibling. But due to certain incidents, the human fell ill and died. Remembering their final wish, the prince, who was in fit with depression and determination, yielded their soul and crossed the barrier. Returning the human's corpse back to the village, the HUMANS were outraged and attacked Asriel. As he went back after fulfilling the wish, the prince collapsed due to immeasurable mortal damage.
        The king, who is the father of both children, plan to seek revenge. After knowing what must be done, he stated his rule. Any human who falls down, must venture through the UNDERGROUND and attempt to kill him to go home. Numerous sacrifices were made, not only children, but relationships and morality.
        And finally, the final human... They made the same actions of the children before them, but eventually killed the king. Yet it didn't felt captivating enough... They RESET'ed to where they left off, and did what must be done. But in the end, something...went wrong. The final human, mysteriously disappeared in the UNDERGROUND... After hearing that another child was missing and were lastly seen on the top of the mountain, the HUMANS assumed that the MONSTERS have finally got enough souls. However, they were left skeptical and confused, that they have yet to see their enemy race come out the mountain's original BARRIER passage. In the end, the last human's ending was left unfinished...

I sat down with an idea from the comic & trailer. I turned on piano and played every part out, then I was writing it into fl and back and forth till I had a whole song. Really went full Cinematic/Orchestral as I could with it. I'm really proud of this one. Hope you all enjoy. <3
